Founded in 2024, the Learning Bitcoin Foundation addresses the growing demand for impartial, in-person, and open-source Bitcoin education.
Our mission focuses on fostering financial sovereignty, self-custody, and human rights through interactive workshops, conferences, and open-source resources.
Our
Workshops
Boost engagement.
Eliminate jargon.
Reduce friction.
Bitcoin education gaps persist: Online resources abound, but translating them into engaging, pedagogically sound experiences is rare. Traditional conferences often feature jargon-heavy, passive sessions lacking hands-on interaction, learning objectives, or time for questions, failing to anchor in effective teaching methods despite Bitcoin's emphasis on empowerment.
We reinvent Bitcoin education with scalable, peer-to-peer learning and gamification models: from conference segments (2024) to full-day main-stage events (2025). Our interactive workshops eliminate jargon, boost engagement, and foster connections, sparking curiosity about money and Bitcoin. Our approach rewards participation, builds foundational knowledge, and empowers communities to combat repression through financial tools.

In 2026...
...we are expanding our impact by partnering with major Bitcoin and freedom tech conferences worldwide as their dedicated education provider. Our focus is on under-resourced communities in Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America. We will equip activists, leaders, and everyday users with Bitcoin fundamentals, security best practices, self-custody techniques, and advocacy tools through workshops, open-source resources, and subsidized access. This initiative addresses real-world barriers like inflation, asset freezes, and limited infrastructure, fostering financial inclusion and sovereignty.
